Let's close out Inktober with a familiar face. This is Series 2000 #23: Slappy's Nightmare.
Jimmy O'James has had it with the attitude of his sentient ventriloquist dummy, Slappy and plans to have Slappy's life force drained out and placed in a new dummy, Wally. Somehow, Slappy is able to talk Jimmy out of it, but at a catch: Slappy is given to a girl and while in her possession, he must perform three good deeds in a week or he'll cease to be. This book is unique as Slappy is thrust into the role of antihero as his attempts at good deeds suspiciously backfire...
