Long, long ago, a small lizard named Drake discovered a cave close to his home and explored it for days on end. One day, while searching deep in there, he found an old statue that inside, held a secret, but to be unlocked, Drake needed to bring several items to it. Drake didn't fully know what he wanted, but he knew he couldn't do this alone, so, we went after his friends to help him.
Drake's best friend, Rey, lived in the swamp and was the closest to reach without much struggle. So, after a few minutes of walking towards his house, Drake knocks on Retloy door and shouts:
" Hey, Retloy! are you there?"
"Who's there?!" Rey replies.
"Rey, it's me, Drake!"
"...Ah, is you... what do you want now?"
"I need help scavenging for some items, would you help me?"
"What will I gain from this?"
"We get a treasure which is sealed inside a magic statue"
Rey changes his voice tone and shouts "What the hell are we doing here then? let's go!"
Ray opens the door and lets Drake inside while he grabs his exploration stuff. The couch had a mark that looked like the shape of someone. After getting ready, both went outside and back to the cave and asked the statue what are the things they would need to bring.
The statue responds with:
"a small golden disk hidden in the wall, 2 diamonds hidden in the water, and a scroll from a long time ago, lost in the sands of time"
"a golden disk... 2 diamonds, a scroll?" asks Drake, confused.
"Huh, I heard that up north there was an old temple with a gold disk on one of the walls" Rey comment.
"Wait really? let's go there then!"
"Not so fast, is a long trip, about 4 days or so on foot"
"What are waiting for then?"
"I’m not walking 4 days strait! are you insane?"
"Do you have a better alternative?"
"Get a car, duh! though, as far as I know, you don't have one"
"Yeah, I actually don't own a car, but you do, right?"
"No, I own a bike, but is running dry on gas, and I think it wouldn't be possible to even reach the nearest gas station"
"Okay then let’s go and fuel up your bike, I know a near gas station…"
"Look, I have a better plan, you get the bike, and go there, I’m going to go try find the scroll"
"Sure thing"
Drake both part ways, as Rey goes west, while Drake grab his bike and goes north. after getting the gas, Drake spend around 5 hours driving to the temple, and when he is close, the front tire explodes due to a collision with a sharp stone on the road, throwing him against a tree.
"Aw my head... How the hell did I survive that?" Drake asks himself, after getting up.
"You should be asking; did you survive that?" A strange voice answers.
“The Voice responds "oh... a nobody... that you need to know..."
“Who’s There!?”
“An Nobody, but a nobody you should fear.”
“What do you want with me?!”
“I see that you are attempting to collect the golden disk, and I can’t allow that.”
Out of the shadows of the trees, Drake sees a creature, who looks like him, but somehow, it has 8 legs instead of arms, and feet instead of hands.
"What the hell…"
The creature drops to the ground, and starts running towards Drake, using all it's 10 feet to reach him faster, Drake notices and screams "OH FUCK" while running. He somehow, managed to outrun it, and enter the temple, however, by trying to protect himself, he accidently locked himself in the temple.
Drake looks around, trying to find the exit, and he find a puddle with something glowing on the bottom.
"Wait... Is that the disc?" Drake asks himself.
But after looking a bit closer, he saw that it was a bit smaller than the disk he are looking for, but something about it seems important, and Even though he didn't know what it was, he caught it, and discovered it was one of the diamonds he needed to collect.
After a while wondering, eventually Drake finds the disk, and as soon as he removed it from the wall, he somehow got teleported back to his home
"Wait... I’m home?" Drake asks to himself.
But before he could question further, Ray shows up.
"What the hell.... Drake! you're already back?"
"Yeah, and you don't want to know what happened when I was at the temple, also did you get the scroll?"
"Yeah, and this diamond, it was in a weird puddle for some reason."
"a diamond??? Ray, i think we have all of the items now!"
"that's great! let's go talk with that statue"
Drake and Ray go back in the cave, and in order, puts the scroll in the statue's mouth, the diamond in its eyes, and the disk on its chest, this causes a loud sound to echo in the cave, and a wall nearby opens like a door, revealing pure darkness.
Drake Looks at it, and then feels Ray kicking him into the darkness, but before he could look back, Ray takes one of the diamonds, and the door closes. This causes the ground below to start to shake.
And before he could hold into something, it broke, and Drake fell for a while before reaching a puddle of water underneath.
Drake get’s out of the water, and soon after, hears sounds of footsteps coming closer. Soon the room illuminates, as several people in white robes shows up. One of them goes closer to Drake and crouches.
"Child, are you alright?"
"Child?"
"Yes, we are all child of the great lord of the hands"
The man extends his "hand" towards you, but as you grab it, something feels... off
"Sorry, seems you have…Hands…"
"Seems since you are now among us, we will need to solve this problem..."
"Solve this problem?"
"Yes child..."
The man tells the others to illuminate the room more, and you see that instead of a hand, he has a foot, in fact, as Drake looks around, he sees that all of them have feet instead of hands.
Drake follows the people into a dark tunnel, and in the end…
