Almost as quickly as it started, it's over. There's no sign of what you once were, carried away by the wind and lost to the marsh, and strangely it feels okay. Your new form seems to fit the scenery much better, anyway - smooth scales that the mud can naturally slip away from, powerful claws to help you navigate the marshy earth. It still feels weird, the sensations from the changes in your limbs down to your tail but you could get used to this as you survey your domain ...
