Avoid the marsh, they said. Sure, it might be the more direct route, a quicker way to go, but strange things happen there, they said. Spooky stuff. But that's all got to be silly superstition right? What's the worst that can happen, you get a little bit of mud on your paws? But, damn if that mud isn't just really sticky.
