Bruised and his body aching, Gritt flings himself at Sven in complete desperation. Gritt takes a few hard punches as Sven tries to stay clear of him. The hare’s determination is awarded as he grasps on to Sven’s arm and delivers several heavy blows to the fox’s face. Sven angrily struggles to get free which causes the fighters to fall. The fight is temporarily taken to the dirt.

The two men wrestle and roll about as Gritt’s shoes slip loose and Sven’s trousers begin to rip and loosen. Sven kicks Gritt off of him and tries to get back to his feet. He succeeds but his respite doesn’t last as Gritt clings to him again for a clinch. He wasn’t going to let his opponent slip away so easily. For a moment to two share a few exhausted breaths as their stamina is almost spent.

This moment ends when Gritt suddenly pelts Sven with a knee. He delivers several more as Sven coughs up blood with each blow. This attack ends when Gritt’s pain from the previous leg kicks starts to catch up with him. Sven then tosses Gritt off of him and then immediately kneels over coughing up blood and spit. Gritt while laughing says “you know I really like the way you fight.” Sven stumbles back to his feet and shouts. “You too hot stuff!” The two men smile hard at each other with swollen grins and barely functioning vision.
