Commentary:
Oh hey, remember the gator bully from chapter 12? No? Well here's some of her family. This will be the last you see of them this chapter, but I wanted to introduce them while I had the perfect opportunity. I want to have them on standby for a later chapter this volume.

Okay so Margrethe is deaf, but she can clearly read lips, which is why I had Elek's face pointed at her direction. Later this chapter it will explain how she speaks as well as she does w/o any form of sign language and also that she can read lips (except for birds). The only thing I won't get to explain is the fact that sign languages weren't as wide spread in this time period for the setting. The reason I'm not having character explain things right now is because they already know this info and have no reason to repeat it right now.
