Commentary:
There, I did it, I finally showed some carpenters working on the wall I mentioned twice in chapter 21. That panel took forever, so I'm definitely not planning on doing that again anytime soon.
I think this is the first time I've actually shown Monster Slayers, let alone talked about the concept of them. Either way it was a thing I've had in mind for this setting since the beginning and hopefully it should be self-explanatory as to what their jobs are. I've at least shown a couple of monsters in the past.
This is the debut of 4 whole characters. One of which is based on an OC who belongs to my friend
Elek Kristof. The giant old wolf named Elek. This version of Elek is considered an official character of my comic and is not simply just a cameo. The circumstances that lead to this happening is a bit complicated, but I'm looking forward to have him involved in the story.

Yeah they're actually related to one of the previously shown gator characters (which will be evident on the next page).
I don't have super huge plans for them atm, but I knew they were characters that would exist so I wanted to use this opportunity to bring them in. I do hope to give them some action later this volume tho and also random doodles.

He's actually 3ish years older at age 17, but yeah I could see them briefly teaming up against a giant monster (partly something I want to do in the story if i have room).
Minor spoilers, but the Monster Slayer occupation usually has them leave for a long while, so they are here for a visit before heading back out of town
