How is it that everyone but me can get into this beta? ;-; I've been running the updater of 4, almost 5, days now and it's not even halfway done downloading the initial updates. D= I haven't downloaded something this slow since dial-up.

It's 8-12 GB. Also, either make sure you have Universal Plug and Play open on your operating system/firewall/router, or configure a static port on it and open that port through your router/firewall manually.

Is that something that has to be done specifically for ff? I don't have trouble updating any of the other MMO's that I play. Also, I know how big it is but with my connection and normal DL speeds it shouldn't take nearly this long. I can download nearly that much in a single day if it's not being bottle necked by the host. I've been on the first of now 7 separate patches since the day I downloaded the game off of the site 5 days ago. That 1/7 patch is currently at 63.3%

I'm pretty sure that the ports necessary are already forwarded but I'll look into it.
