Your beat-up characters who have had rough lives and poor hurt ears are almost enough to make me forget that Yinglets are basically good natured. Almost. The problem with that is I know full well that if you give a Ying 1, clams, then 2, hugs they turn into 1, a happy puppy and 2, a friend for life. And I cannot be convinced that this is not so!
