Kindar came up to me at MFF with a request that was a bit of a flash-back for me.
"A tiger-morph wearing a sleeveless trench-coat, but in a fantasy setting, like D&D".
Now, mind you, I pretty much started my gaming career with a weretiger by the name of "Jason Shadow-Walker" who's trademark was a black trenchcoat. His (SNAFU) travels took him lots of places, even AD&D... so after discussing the particulars of the sword, Kindar took off. Then I had to ask myself "How do I make this trench look fantasy?" I was happy with the final outcome, and so was he. ^.^
Pencil on paper
Photoshop for corrections (unfortunately, it was a large sketch-book, so the left side got chopped off as it went too close to the binding and/or couldn't fit on the scanner's glass).
