When I submitted this art to Edd Vick to use in his Rowrbrazzle zine, he lamented that official policy prevented him from using it. Never mind, said I. I can "fix" it. So I did.

Actually, by making the addition, you've taken this to a another level, making it "a completely different piece of art" after all - no longer just an example of Rule 34 in action, it makes a statement of sorts and engages the viewer in a dialog with the artist.
BTW there should be a *SPOILER ALERT* here somewhere - I haven't seen Edd's trib yet! It should be a good one, though.

You could go to my user page, where it's the featured art... at the moment.
If I've changed it by the time you look, you could try this instead --

Good old Rule 8, eh? To tell the truth, I haven't really had to invoke that one so far during my iron rule as OE. BTW it's interesting to see that you still get into Rowrbrazzle from time to time - and getting paid for it too (and quite rightly so). Maybe I can get JWK to do a frontispiece for R - or four different frontispieces, one for each quarterly issue - by commission, of course.
I thought the reason you were/are so huffy about R was the fact that you have been pestered so much to come up with free art to be included in this or that issue, something I would never consider doing to you BTW. Evidently this is a Private Arrangement between you and Edd, so that's cool.
Having been the victim of the insentient fist of censorship - my DA was wiped when it was discovered I was too Deviant for their taste - I can understand something of what you're saying. In fact, I recently went back through my files and I'm posting some of the more topical (ie, "furry") from my former DA site in my Scraps section - nothing too exciting. The straw that went up the camel's @$$ was an EverReady Battery/[i]Bladerunner{/i] item, FWIW, and will probably not be reposted, alas.

I'm not pissed off with Rowrbrazzle. I grew pissed off with Jed Martinez, who kept doing anniversary portfolios. I think it started with Brazzle 50. Then he did another for 75 maybe. And then he hit me up again for mailing 100. The thing was I had only been a member for the first 32 or 35 mailings! I hadn't been a member for four years when he hit me up for number 50. But that was okay -- it was only once, and it would be nice to have all the old alumni in the folio. Mailing 75 was stretching a point, I thought. But I went along with it. Mailing 100 was asking too much, considering that it had been more than 15 years since I quit the apa. Even so, I didn't actually lose my temper until it became obvious that Jed had fucked up and was never going to produce the folio. I understand that it never appeared, even though R100 came and went.
fortunately, I found a better use for the art. I appeared on the cover of a Worldcon Progress Report, and in modified form was used as the membership badge.

Well, seeing as the R100 Portfolio never came out (the material is supposedly lurking in his living room under a moldering pile of old newspapers or something), I seriously doubt you'll be called upon for any further contributions, at least not if I have any say about. BTW I have something in that portfolio as well and find the situation displeasing.
There used to be a fine old tradition in Sf fandom -- called "Blitzkreiging" or something. When a situation like this arose, all the guy's fan friends would show up at his place one night, and forcibly put his issue out. I guess that's not practical anymore. People are apt to live far away... and call the cops when anyone forces their way in through the door.
