I made a new sheath for the axe I've had since the old one kind of sucked and was made with super glue at the bottom. It had broken a couple days ago, so this was made.

The bottom of the sheath has wood. This is because I don't have leather glue, I didn't want to have to use super glue, and didn't want to screw with having to stuff a needle through a series of deep holes.

The bottom is made is made of two parts, one part leather and one part wood. The reason for it being two parts is because if it were solely wood it would crack due to the tacks spreading the wood apart.

I used the same sassafras peg from the old one. I like this much better.

It has been dyed with rust and vinegar.
