Not many people know that all of my eeveelutions and sonas carry a first name as I usually just go by Rygone these days. However, Rygone is a last name that connects them all together. I do this in part because it's easier to be recognized when I'm swapping between species and the other part is that ultimately all of my sonas are a part of who I am. As such, it makes sense that they would all carry the same name.

But much like our emotions, even if they are all a part of us they are each still a unique aspect all unto themselves. In other words, anger is not sadness though both are a part of who you are.

Umbre here was my first sona. My first emotion if you will. He is still a character I connect with deeply as he carries a remarkably large part of who I am as an individual. He is quiet, astute, and solitary, but he also knows how to interact with others and how to entertain himself during periods of boredom. There's a reason he was my fursona for over a decade.

However, I have grown as a person and so now he no longer represents solely who I am. That said, he will always remain an integral part of myself. A figment of my past, present, and future being.
