Among the Spireborn, Cyphin had often found himself as being perceived as something of the errant genius, a powerful spellcrafter in his own way, but also unmotivated and lazy. His preference for sleeping away his days unless dealing with intruders had given him something of a reputation for that. But what most others don’t know about the gentle giant is his desire to end the superstitions and fear normal Zorgoia held of them, and for the rest of the Spireborn to lay off their ingrained zeal and isolationism and open up to the rest of their species-cousins.
It would be on a planet not his own, via a magical portal spell he learned from the dragon Veluren, where he would find this first opportunity when he met the birdman scientist Chio and his “family” of Zorgoia. Many of them otherwise not associated with Veldram, they were more open to view Cyphin as a person rather than a monster from the cautionary tales older Zorgoia tell to their squeaks to ward them away from Spireborn territory.
Carrying on discussion with the group in his own passive way, Cyphin found a quick friendship with all of Chio’s household, but particularly bonded with Chio’s adopted son, the young lava-lamp Zorgoia Rayleigh. Rayleigh’s innocence and curiosity had him regard Cyphin with the least superstition and be the first one to welcome him with open arms to their world. His appreciated kindness forged a friendship between them within minutes, with Rayleigh offering to educate Cyphin on the ways of the outside world while he studied his own lessons about such.
After some periods of interacting, they found one of their favorite ways to study was out among the nature outside of Chio’s home, with his large body making for a soft place for Rayleigh to rest on, he’d read to Cyphin whatever caught his own interests and Cyphin would listen intently to learn what other worlds and cultures told for stories, histories, cultures, things he’d listen to with full intent of relaying back home, to teach his own reclusive people about those who don’t follow the Spire.
...Inevitably, with so much reading on so soft a surface, Rayleigh would feel the desire to doze off, a happy smile on his face as he snuggled into the lazy giant’s fur and got comfortable, his lava-lamp body radiating an appreciable heat as Cyphin too closed his eyes to enjoy the literal warmth of friendship with him.
Studying could wait, this was much better.
What's this, something SFW? From me?
As far as it goes, my favorite giant-tiny interplays don't tie into vore, or manipulation or size-difference-related-NSFW, I enjoy them as wholesome moments of having a giant friend protecting and bonding with smaller ones, serving as beds and just being there, being comfortable friends.
I want to get more slice of life type stuff that otherwise don't involve kink or lewds, so it's always refreshing when I can get something cute like this, with Cyphin and Rayleigh just being friends and hanging out together.
Artist for this lovely piece was

Cyphin belongs to me.
And Rayleigh belongs to
Adenosine
