Demi Human: Beings that hail from other dimensions or non human sapient natives of earth often possess extra normal abilities. Next to mutants they are the most populus post humans at once coveted and exploited by most nations. In the early roman empire Beastfolk demi humans were sought out for the extra muscle they added to the roman legions in their conquests, early egyptians saw them as direct representatives of the gods placing them as advisors to pharohs, the japanese referred to the as hengeyokai and so forth. Europe struggled under the heel of Pure Blood Vampires, terrifying sapient predators that hunted everything around them for sport. Strange human like Fair Folk brought their strange approaches to magic, technology, and life to a young humanity. Some demi humans are dimensional refugees hailing from near, far, planes or other worlds entirely. They are the elves, drwarves, giants, vampires, faeries, and other legendary creatures. Demi humans tend to have innate abilities that set them apart from normal humans, some of which come in handy given the discrimination they tend to suffer. Alongside mutants and non whites, demi humans in the west suffer regular acts of discrimination though it tends to be in the form of fetishization. Larger demi humans get pressed into private security or military service, smaller ones into modeling or performance arts, ect. Their extra normal abilities make them sought after which tends to exacerbate relations in poorer cities where work is difficult to come by.
