So, this beauty was resting in the shade box, sleeping when we first walked through, but it became aware of us quickly. Especially when camera noises began filling the air, eyes open, peering out to see who was interrupting the afternoon nap. I've shot this cougar on several occasions, but today I was happy with the sharpness, the stillness. Waiting for a few more moments of silence to return back to dreams.
