Here's this dude, one of my oldest characters. I think I made him around 2014? I'm almost embarrassed by him(that color scheme..), but he holds a weird, special place in my heart.

Fang is mischievous, a bit snarky, and slightly cocky. He's probably the least angsty out of all my characters, honestly.

Age: Unknown, acts like he's around mid-20s
Height: around 5'8, likes to float though

Fang is a drainer, a sort of ghost-like species that survives by possessing people and consuming their energy. This is their only sustenance, they don’t need to eat or drink. Sleep isn’t..totally necessary? but they do it sometimes. Y’know, pass the time or something. It does seem to have some positive effect on them, though.
When they possess someone, the eye color of the person seems to change a bit to look like the eyes of the drainers.

They can float and fly, and are also able to phase through walls if they wish.
If they don’t leech energy, they start to dissolve-And eventually, cease to exist. This is of course very stressful.
If they have too much, they may be unable to fly or phase through things.
They can’t leech all the energy out of a person, as it is incredibly risky. If the person dies after draining all their energy(very likely), then the drainer will be unable to escape and will have to just..get used to puppeting a body i guess

They can't drain energy from things without souls, it's gotta have something like a soul for it to work.

Its not entirely known how they come to exist, but it has something to do with them having or previously having a fear of death.

The scars they have on them also seem to have some relation with how they died, if this is the case then fang must have had quite the peculiar time.
Also, when they fully dissipate, they don't go to any sort of afterlife. Reason being, they just. Don't exist anymore. Just completely gone.

(Still a work in progress, but i think it's going well. I think calling them drainers is a bit silly but..I can't bring myself to change it. <:]
