Oh, I NEVER work a crowd or anything. I find it easier as someone with social phobia because people approach me and talk to me. I just put a sign up and some examples, and let those do the introductions!
Though I wonder if putting on a ringmaster's coat and top hat and yelling "ROLL UP! ROLL UP! ART OF THE CENTURY!" would sell much more? :P
