Daki Daki was the Monster of the week in Ep. 59 of the Grendizer Anime and was the 64rth Beast in the show overall, appearing in the final act of the episode; it was controlled Minister Dageel and his Young Kill Squad: Aeinz (Team leader), Siko (the child of the team), Trou (Light Blue Member), Tsubi (the Purple Member) and Beca (orange Team member though the latter doesn't board, been killed before hand).
The Monster was a Two stage type Beast, meaning this was two in one gestalt monster: One a Blue/Red Color serpent, with centipede legs, with white spikes along the side of the face – this was piloted by Aeinz's team, and would be the main head and tail of the whole Beast, while the main body overall, a humanoid type, was dark blue/white/Green colors, and had spikes running sides; this was piloted by Minister Dageel. When the Dragon detached, a light blue humanoid head would pop out.
The Monster had missile spikes on the side of its torso, was well fired spinning disks, and fired missiles from the abdomen; the Serpent's side only abilities were a tractor beam that came from the mouth and flight.
Side Note: the Episode lacks much in action up until the final act, most of it centering around the Young Squad, quite falling on the weak side, who despite been the focus, not much character is really given to them outiside of Aeinz, the leader, Siko, the child of the team who see everything with a glee of innocence and Trou, who is seen as rush to judgement; the other 2 (Beca and Tsubi) are just there, and Dageel – well – he is just another Minister, largely staying in the sidelines till the very end. Their overall purpose is to die like clueless idiots with no real redemption to them, EVEN THOUGH Aeinz starts getting the idea that Duke "may not be" THE BAD GUY before his death. I can see what was the message they were going, the reprehensible use of Children as Soldiers, but even that really doesn't get touch too much up until the end and only after their deaths.
After watching the tombstones of fallen Vega Warriors, A group of Young Vega Commandos, led by Minister Dageel, are been made to believe Duke is a villain who has conquered the Earth, brainwashing its People. The team travels to Earth to Kill him to free the planet from Duke, Disguise as Kids on a School Bus out to take over the Radar Base which serves the Observatory, as Umon and Maria pay a visit.
Side Note 2: and by Disguise, I mean making ZERO attempt to look like Earthlings, maintaining their overall appearance and Uniforms when crashing their Bus at the entrance of the Radar Base; At least Dageel wears a Suit, but the fucktard is still a Purple Skin Fucktard in a freaking Business Suit. StRuH-TaH-gEEEEE!
As Dageel leaves the kids to do their mission, at the base nursery, the Commandos wake up and knock out the guards, the Base Commander, Umon and Maria using Neutralizing Shockers, then end up disrupting the Radar with a jamming device, which is detected by the Observatory, forcing Duke and Koji to take off and investigate (during this point, the Beast is send to Dageel, who awaits from the sidelines in the woods). However, the operation unravels when Maria wakes up (the shockers having little effect on her, as they were design to be use on humans) sounds off the Alarm putting the base on Alert, the security force surrounding the Radar Tower, as well they are unable to contact Dageel, do to the jamming device. In the moment, Koji and Duke arrive, the latter calling the hostages by Megaphone, with the former replying threat on the lives of the hostages – calling him a villain, much to his surprise, specially as they identified as Youth.
As they pounder how to get out of their situation, the squad is surprise to see the defense forces and Koji pulling back, Duke standing alone – taking their chance, the Commandos come rushing out to kill Duke, though the latter attempts to reason with them. In the scuffle, Duke defeats, disarms and holds Aeinz with his gun (WORST COMMANDOS EVER!!), though still refusing to harm them, begging them to look at the world around them, explaining Vega is the true enemy. In that moment, Dageel, piloting Daki Daki shows up, shooting at the airfield, Beca been mortally hit, as Duke tries to save him a second swipe from the beast finishes Beca off. Duke takes on Grendizer while Dageel collects the remaining commandos, who pilot the Serpent portion of Daki, while Dageel manages the Humanoid part of the Beast; Aeinz still wonders why Duke decided to return for Beca with no regard for himself, though the others make up his mind for him and fall in line to follow orders (IDIOTS!!!).
Duke tries to not fight, desperately trying to save the youths, with both parts ganging on Duke, while ignoring Koji. Duke hopes to take the Serpent to the ground with no harm done to them, but both side rush towards Grendizer, the mecha avoiding their assault, but Dageel accidentally hits the Daki Serpent with a missiles – this suffers a chain reaction of explosions, bursting into flames on impact with the ground, Killing Aeinz's team. An enrage Duke vows to take down Dageel, who now faces Koji and Duke.
While attempting to escape, Koji uses Double cutter to cut off the Beast's legs, which had the Boosters; as the monsters loses control and falls to the ground, Dageel and the rest of the Beast are dispose with a Cyclone Beam and Space Thunder Combo.
After the battle, Duke standing next the wreck where the Youths had died, can only but blame himself for their demise, praying that they forgiveness and hoping they may had found peace. A monologue of Aeinz's voice is heard (the character's final thoughts) recognizing Duke was honest who truly fought for Peace.
