Banksverse Character Profile: Professor Frank Sassafras
Hello everyone!
This is a new character I got from
lightalbane in an auction. The art itself was by 
Wazplm52.
Professor Frank Sassafras
Gender: Male
Species: Anthro Feraligatr
Height: 9’7’’
Weight: Unknown, but estimated to be several tons.
Age: 35
Likes: Exploration, fighting, well-behaved students, Nanab Berry pizza.
Dislikes: Misbehaving students, staying in one place for too long, Razz Berries, boredom.
Home: A research lab/college (officially named “Hammerlocke University”) in the middle of the Wild Area closest to Hammerlocke City, Galar.
Moves: Surf, Rock Smash, Hydro Cannon, and Giga Impact
Strength: Physical Attack, Defense.
Weakness: Speed, Special Defense
Bio: Once upon a time, Frank Sassafras was a normal human named Francis Saffron, a young man who was training to be a Pokémon Professor. That changed when his group went to the land of Kalos for a research trip and visited the Laverre Nature Trail. Little did anyone know that the natural magic of Kalos in the area had been supercharged by the regional PokeMages having magic duels in the area a day prior, or that the piece of stone from Turrfield that Francis carried with him as a good luck charm would react so violently with the magic of Kalos. It did, and Francis Saffron was transformed into Frank Sassafras, a massive anthro Croconaw at the time.
When the team (who had been taking inventory of their equipment while Francis had sneaked off to go explore on his own) found Frank, he was confused by their shock: hadn’t he always been Frank Sassafras, fat anthro Croconaw? Compounding matters was that reality itself seemed to have altered to accommodate Frank’s new form: all photos and videos of him showed his new form, his records had changed, everyone (besides the team) now knew him as a fat anthro Croconaw, and even his parents had become two big, massive anthro Feraligatr parents who backed Frank up. The team eventually gave up, and resolved to keep their knowledge private.
A few years, an evolution, and several hundred pounds later, Frank became Professor Frank Sassafras like he’d dreamed. He opened up a school for students who wished to explore dangerous regions like he did, and in his off time he went on exploration trips by himself. It was on one of these trips that he met Rachel the PokeMage, and became one of her friends: registering her in his Holo Caster and C-Gear and helping her out on many of her missions.
Personality: As a Pokémon Professor, he is quite smart, and knowledgeable about the many species of Pokémon in the world. He loves adventure and the thrill of battle, and constantly seeks both everywhere he goes. His biggest problem is his temper: when he loses it, he makes mistakes. He is also quite prone to eating everything in people’s refrigerators, though he does make it up to them once he realizes what he’s done.
