Is there anything better than to spend a warm summer's day at the beach?
Build sandcastles, go swimming in the ocean, chillax in the sun... and then repeat. Not necessarily in that order.
And Sascha is no different here.
He loves the beach, loves to swim. And of course he can swim on his own just fine.
But his parents insisted on a pair of water wings, just in case. And the little bear kitty did not mind. In fact, having some floaties and swim ring is a lot of fun.
Wanting to share all the fun with his plushie friend Sammy, he had to take some precautions.
A purple floatie for the long-tailed lynx, so he doesn't sink (plushies are terrible swimmers). And then he also tied the plushie to his swim ring, so Sammy would not float away, but would stay close to his little owner.
And then they are off to the water.
Somehow Sammy doesn't really seem to be thrilled by the idea of going for a dip. In fact... he looks mighty concerned with a "Do not want!" expression on his face.
But I think Ghosty will put him on his own swim ring, so his companion wouldn't get too wet.
Poor Sammy ^.^'
Well, childlike enthusiasm doesn't always produce the wisest idea.
Even with taking all precautions, Sammy would have probably preferred to just stay on the beach and watch Sascha swim alone.

It was an artistic freedom commission for a summer theme and Strawbs really nailed it down.
