I've been working on this for three days and ran through a few failures. I'd like to call this a failure, but it works and is good enough for now until I feel like re-doing the part that the legs are part of.
The legs are made from aluminum rod things I found inside an electrical pedestal. I forged them from their 3 foot length to 4 feet 5 inches.
I need to make the controlling handle and fix the vertical adjustment knuckle, but I'm a bit spent on this project.
A forge weld failed and I had to fix it with rivets and braze.

This was an exhausting project, but I might be able to do it better when I care.
