An older scribble. I scan 'em when I find 'em. In this case there were some notes attached that formed the basis of this "story."

The biggest mystery is how his reputation doesn't preceed him. You'd think the next time he opened that cabinet, three dozen burly policement didn't boil out and arrest him. While its true there's no corpus delecti in the technical sense, circumstancial evidence would be overwhelming.
Well, he can make a story out of anything. ^^
From Family Guy:
King: "Okay, for my 302 book, um...there's this... *grabs a desk lamp and waves it around* "A lamp monster! Grrrr! Argh! Snarl!"
Agent: "You're not even trying anymore, are you?"
King: "Hiss."
Agent: *sighs in exasperation* "When can I see the draft?"

That's a very polite way to put it. I tend to call it the potty-mouth style of animation. Whereas I usually find The Simposons actually funny, all too often the writers for Family Guy just say "oh fuck," or have somebody poop their pants, and pass it off as humour. If that's getting old, somebody is run ove rby a car or crushed by a rock randomly falling out of the sky. The sad thing is that for the present generation of viewers, it works. I have equal reservations about Robot Chicken, Bevis & Butthead, American Dad, Aquateen Hunger Force, and other, mostly obscure stuff, from the Willims Street studio gang. The only show I ever thought really made something worthwhile from this aethetic was Duckman. But it was also very literate and not as infatuated with media.
I agree that "Adult Swim" is dying a slow death, and I firmly believe there is a special place in Hell reserved for "Tim n' Eric". ^^
I stopped watching "The Simpsons" years ago, though I did love the full-length movie. They brought back all the old writers and story creators, and it worked. ^^
But now I'd like them to just go away. ^^

I stopped watching the Simpsons about the same time. But it wasn't a choice, exactly. For one thing, a fan and fellow artist was hanging out a lot with me then, and he really disliked the Simpsons, and would bug me incessantly about not being available when they were on. It wore one me. I started making exceptions on Sundays when he wanted to do something, then began to simply forget they were on. Finally, I fell behind on my cable bell and lost access. I haven't seen the show since. Maybe it's gotten stale... *more* stale... than it was three years ago. I wouldn't know. Todd *loved* Family Guy, naturally. But he had the good taste to find American Dad as despicably bad as I did.
