Seems like that dramatic strength I admire in Hund was applied to my back door. Looking through the security footage, it’s amazing Hund can easily rip a metal door off its hinges before body slamming the wooden door behind it into splinters. He really is a force of nature. While destruction isn’t atypical, Hund usually has the civility to knock on my door to check if I was here. Perhaps something about these confections made him go feral.
What was even more impressive was how quickly he devoured the entire batch of Hundies I had prepared. In total, I had 168 Hundies laid out across 7 different baking sheets. The voracious husky manages to slide 2 dozen of those desserts into his mouth at once before quickly masticating and swallowing down the sweet mash. I think he finished the rest of the Hundies in under 5 minutes. Rather impressive speed eating (at least to my standards).

Hund’s belly has expanded greater than I expected. Despite the large quantities of Hundies consumed, I expected outward expansion to be 1 foot max. Instead, Hund’s belly looks like it expanded to at least twice that estimate. Its possible gastric gasses or food consumed prior may lead to such a portly increase. I’d need a more in-depth look to be sure.

I am very pleased to say though that the satiation factor of this recipe seemed to work! The gigantic hound is currently laying on my floor unconscious with such a pleased look on his face! I think this may be the first time I’ve seen him smile! (Also he has armpit hair? Fascinating!). Despite inopportune conditions, this was a massive success! If Hund’s slumber is deep enough, perhaps I may finally be able to do a tactical examination of his abdomen.
