There are apparently more layers of awful in this. The lady interviewing him (I'm using chris's old pronouns to diferentiate) apparently turns out to also be a pretty sick fuck. She actually was encouraging him, and if what I'm reading is true, she was doing it with the intent to later blackmail him into offing himself on camera. she had never intended it to go public but someone on discord she sent it to leaked it.

Chris has always surrounded himself with creeps. Even Megan was kind of weird tbh, not so weird as to deserve Chris Chan's attention, but weird none the less. Like, the fact that Chris's Jiminy Cricket was a group of people from the fucking kiwi farms is in hindsight telling (by that I don't mean that Null and the watchmen lead Chris to where he is, I mean they tried to keep him on the straight and narrow. Kiwi farms users... encouraging moral integrity... horrifying). It feels like bluespike all over again, except everyone involved should have known better
(Also from what I've heard pushing Chris to kill himself was brought up briefly as a joke but was never really intended, I could very well be wrong and I'm open more information on the topic)
