Who Once Was an Artist...

Zyder, the Minotiger. A creation for our D&D 3rd Ed. game.
Inked by me, colored by a fellow on DA by the name Adam Vehige (aka Vegas Mike).
I had the inked version posted on DA and he approached me. I'm very particular about who I let color my stuff, and I was so amazed by his work that I just about jumped up and down with my reply. This was the finished image and it's even more amazing in higher resolutions. ^.^
By the way, this is the first image I've uploaded to FA. I tried to think of what my first post should be. Should it be my logo? My Avatar Torakhan? Or a piece of artwork to kick this off right with? I went with the later. More coming!

The coloring job is what really makes this awsome.
Looking forward to seeing more! :)
... and then he went and got dragonified too... that pics around too. ;)
Plus, I love tigers and minotaurs, so this is a definite WIN. :)
I haven't played the character in years, but he was fun to draw.
Zyder:
A bit of a gentle giant, he was made for nothg more than brute muscular force (at least physically). Even after escaping his master, he always felt a bit incomplete. It turns out he was a counterpart to another entity created so that their union would create an extremely powerful magical effect... sort of like living parts to a battery. Of course, the wizards that created both of them were dead by the time they found one another, so whatever reason they had for making them was never discovered... but they were able to bring life back to the dead en mas once.
Not afraid to swing an axe (or shoot his balista-like bow--his favorited weapon), Zyder was actually a Cleric of the Neutral dragon goddess who watched over her children (the Dragon and dragon-blooded) and whom Zyder took a liking to for no particular reason.
