"I had to do everything myself, you didn't even want to go downstairs to my guests. Do you know how important this contract is to me?"
"Just leave me alone." Sighed the woman.
"No, don't you understand? - I must get this position, it is so important for me, for us..." Corrected himself the man. "You remember what your father said then..."
"Enough, enough, enough... Enough talking about my father." Repeated Delfina holding her head. The woman refilled her glass with alcohol and sipped in one gulp, listening to the whining of her future husband.
"But my dear?"
The woman put the empty glass on the table with the words. "I've had enough - I'm leaving." And calmly getting up, she slowly left the room completely oblivious to the man shocked by such a development of events.



For a long time, I have been planning to publish this. This is a series of short stories "Shadows of the Past" - these are memories from the past about not the best days of my characters.

Please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order. So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order.
