This was a fun idea I had to draw as soon as I came up with it. I pictured the OC of my good buddy RyanMonkey in this situation and was instantly settled on using him.

This is essentially a recreation of an occasional scene in cartoons where a character runs away so fast, they leave an article of clothing behind and they reach back and grab it before taking off. I must say, I should try and draw more stuff like this, it was quite fun!

I don’t know who was trying to shoot Ryan with an arrow. Perhaps he was lounging when a rift in time opened up and dropped him in the old days and everyone was shocked by how scantly clad he was. Of course, he probably isn’t going to do much better due to the fact he was diaperless for a moment. If you saw a naked monkey running around, how’d you react?

Visual description (Panel 1): An arrow in the bottom right corner is pointed at Ryan. Ryan (clad only in a red backwards cap and white disposable diaper with dark green-blue tape) looks at the arrow in Panic and lifts up his left leg and arms in preparation to dash to the left.

Visual Description (Panel 2): Ryan dashed off to the left, only his tail is still visible in the panel, but his diaper floats in the air, having been left behind. The arrow is shot off into the background, having missed it’s target.

Visual Description (Panel 3): Ryan pokes his head and upper half of torso back into the right side of the panel, blushing and smiling sheepishly, as he stretches his arm out in cartoonish proportions to grab his diaper still floating in the air.
