This is my first actual attempt at drawing my fursona. He was, when I was initially deciding what my fursona, a wolf but I decided to change him into a fox for reasons I can’t exactly explain. I’ve been nervous about posting him to be honest. Not that I’m afraid of feedback. It’s more or less the fact that I’ve been through some things in my life that nearly broke me mentally. I don’t know if I should talk about or not in a future journal.

One thing in particular is something that plagued me all of my life. I’ve been forced to constantly leave friends behind because of housing issues. It’s something I would never wish upon anyone. After doing it for so long, I’m afraid of making new friends only to lose them in the future. It’s something I’ve been trying to get past but never quite seem to do it.

Anyways, enough of me talking about personal issues, here is Delta.

He’s someone who’s been through a lot in his life. For all of his life, he’s been forced to move from place to place and consequently had to leave his friends behind with them. It’s something that hits him on a personal level and causes him to hesitate when talking to someone he wants to stay in contact with. After having lost everyone he met before in his life, he’s afraid that he’ll lose someone else whether that be through being forced to move again, rejection, or death itself.

And yet, he still moves forward. Motivated by the fact he could change someone’s life for the better. Willing to stand and fight for those who need help and even sacrifice his needs to save others. He cares for all whether they be mere animals or sentient beings. He just hopes to finally overcome his greatest anxiety and makes a difference to those he cares about.
