Just shoot her; yeah, like it would have been that easy. Sagittarious did have a good idea in trying to end the fight before it started, but gunshots are also usually a good way of clearing a crown too (so long as those ricochets don't hit anybody). Scorpio and Gemini certainly look like they have ideas, if their eyes are any indication, as both can "ninja poof" in their own ways. I suppose that was one flaw in Nighmares plan; she knew that most of the team was there, but knew nothing of their capabilities (which is kind of a cardinal sin when planning an attakc, but she has proven herself to be arrogant with her god complex). The mist is clearly the work of Aquarius, and a good idea too. They need to buy time to form a quick plan and for reinforcments (Leo and Cancer) to arrive, as well as getting civilians clear.

Exposition and character building is all well and good, but in stories like this and especially in comics, the action does have to ramp up at some point. Now that the offer has been made and refused with lead, things are about to get real hectic real quickly.

P.S. Also, Hell Hound ignited = awsome. Also, just noticed the poster with Ranger on it in the background. I really liked "First Mission" and loves Ranger's character, even if she isn't yours.

I must really admit that though she is a villian and probably would break my heart and leave me to die or suffer under Ghoul or any number of situations I am head over hooves for Nightmare. Wily Cupid's arrow hit my heart the first I laid eyes on her and the more I see her the more I like her to the point I probably would have taken a bullet for her.

Eh but this is just a comic and she isn't real to begin with so that will never come to pass. I will admit though the guy who said about the point of just shooting her could have been referencing the scene in "Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark" where Indy just shoots the guy twirling the swords in front of him. Granted it seemed to be more effective there than it was here.

Boy, Libra better confess to Leo real quick, cause it look like at least Saggy is already wondering how that mare even suspected that they were there. Hopefully that's Aquarius creating the fog as it looks like it could help the team for a while, as they get the innocents out of there.

Gee, Nightmare really thought at least one of them was going to turn. Ms. Arrogance really need to think again on her assesments about those willing to defend people, even if those folks have a tendency to fear their defenders.

With Libra, more than likely she's got a concealed carry permit. Here in PA, it's completely legal to open carry as well. But yeah, shooting a foe who could have who know's what powers doesn't always work. Sometimes you need special ammo or have to take on different tactics.
