Got to looking at various heraldic beasts one night and decided I might as well take the craving I had to do a new refsheet for my 'sona, and alter their design.
So, while once a magic-wielding painted dog, Herald is now a magic-wielding boreyne.

A Herald in name, and a Herald in nature.
They were once a painted dog who dabbled in magic, eventually taking the plunge and changing their shape entirely.
Keeping with their namesake, they took the form of a heraldic beast.
Their patience remains seemingly boundless, being extremely slow to anger. Despite fearsome appearance, they're a
quiet sort, preferring to keep to themself.
They still weave magic between their claws, and there's an ever present sense of longing that seems to cloak them.
So, while once a magic-wielding painted dog, Herald is now a magic-wielding boreyne.
