Looks good but you seem to be looking at nothing... maybe work on bringing your eyes to life?

I'm not sure how to explain it other than there is life in the eyes and they help bring the face to life.

It's one of those things that is hard to explain. Some of the artist's on here are very good at bringing the eyes to life.

Aww thanks, I'm trying to get it right. It sucks that the scanner can't properly pick all the details, he looks way more floof in the original ^^;

at least there is that effect from the almost-translucent upper-layer fur around the chest and belly, adding even more to the effect.

I have a scanner that tends to pick up the tiny white dots leftover from rougher paper, and exaggerates them. removing them in photoshop makes the image lose even more sharpness... so I feel with you.

Thank you! I tried one trick I learned sometime ago for the fur and it worked out quite well, you basically use a paper clip or anything pointy and scratch the paper to create the thin hair texture, if you do it before you color, the hair will be the paper tone, but if you do it on top of a layer, it just moves the wax around =3
