Getting THIS in under the wire, but hey! <3 Merms! And a whole lot of them!

I actually did these in three streams from the 26th to 28th, with a couple of pictures being a little older than that that I'd never posted! This was super fun and I'm thankful to those who urged me to just be loose and have fun with it! XD

Mer Chatoyante, the Merelle home city and seat of power (or at least a stylized representation of it). Just taking a crack at representing it. It's a cross between the French riviera and Greek architecture, giving an almost Atlantian vibe!

Below I show off a bit of how the Merelle act to stress, becoming more feral and raising their "hair" fins, fanning them out to make themselves larger and become a lot sharper and more threatening, as well as exposing a few hidden barbs in their tails and back! They are spikey fish, which I'm sure you understand if you've ever had to work with live fish!
