An excellent question!
At first my thoughts revolved around a gal with some curvature, since you've got a real knack for drawing that, but you'd noted you were bored and looking for something different.
So!
Let's take my purple kangaroo avatar (the male side) from this picture.

And put him in Mugsy's outfit from this picture! That'd be the little dude on the left here.

You'd think someone who's purple would have a better fashion sense, but ah well!
If this is a bit too out there I can certainly come up with something a bit less oddball clothing related.

For the sake of simplicity I was thinking of him simply standing there adjusting the hat while grinning and appearing to be planning something.
No doubt said plan is simply to go bug that cute gal in the corner. "'Ey, doll. You'n me, see. Dancin'. Let's go." Gotta start somewhere when it comes to the dames, right? :)

This is an interesting angle, and works surprisingly well for giving a sense of her overall size. Man, those are some serious claws.... I quite enjoy her grin, and have to say you really do combine size and a sense of graceful feature design impressively.
