I would say it's an older piece, but I made so many modifications recently that it's more "updated"...?
Hares are one of those species that can be pregnant with more than one litter at a time, an overlap of a few days (she mates before she gives birth). When I did my original research on the topic years ago, I was never able to find any articles indicating just how many back-to-back pregnancies a hare could do. Could a hare lady have three litters? Four? With hormonal treatments, indefinitely? Or even, naturally, if in the right environment? Just imagine a literally infinite pregnancy. Giving birth just to enlarge right away. If one of those females who doesn't enjoy pregnancy, a curse... but if one who does enjoy growing life within, maybe an ongoing paradise.
I suppose I am obligated to mention, please don't use my characters without permission, even if they are unnamed. Please don't rip off my art. That said, I'm usually easy at giving permission, but not at forgiving.
