"Ho boy! Another sandwich!? For me? You are so generous!" - a naïve Tyco
Kobolds in modern society do not get many opportunities to interact with dragons, given the increased scarcity and aloofness of the remaining dragonkind. This leaves the poor kobolds with a deep and instinctual ache of unfulfillment. But modern problems require modern solutions!
Since a Dragon's time is precious and there is only so many meals during the day, well-to-do kobolds are known to "invite" a dragon to a "feast" : a kobold party where they vicariously serve a dragon by giving them a large meal in their honor. Typically, an important kobold will find a local dragon (either by word of mouth or the Dragon review and rental app: YIP) pay tribute for an audience (the rental fee) and for the event the kobolds will go and pick out things to feed the dragon from their local restaurants or bring home cooking (depending on the dragon's requirements).
Most dragons are kinda gruff and egotistical, and can only eat so much. So general expectation is that the dragon will eat the choicest plates (almost like winning a prize for the kobold whose food was picked) - and all the kobolds get a great boost of fulfillment and reaffirmation (studies show that 80% of all kobold depression can be alleviated by even minor dragon socialization).
Tyco, on the other hand, is an anomalous dragon in the Chicagoland area, whose open heart and bottomless stomach has proven to be disruptive to the establishment system - Kobolds lose themselves feeding and snuggling the large lad. For a time Tyco's days were nonstop meals and snuggles (all things Tyco liked) and he quickly bloated to a massive size.
This wanton display of gregariousness and affection disturbed the other, more influential dragons (who were both disgusted and unconsolably jealous) who soon put a stop to this by forcing kobolds to limit the number of dragon feasts one can have a year.
As result, despite having one of the lowest net worths of dragons in North America, Tyco is one of the most requested on the YIP app, and most if not all of his income is derived from this "feast tribute"
