Yeah that's true. There are even 3 Gameboy Themes in the game. All from "Killer Instinct" the studio that actually made the Conker game.
Funny enough, the beta game was a kid game. The team said they needed a break from all the violence from making "Killer Instinct"...looks
like this didn't last very long since Conker's Bad Fur Day is very violent xD haha but yeah I never saw so many idle animation on a videogame
character. Even today, I cannot think of a character who has 10+ different idle animations. Some of them based where the character is located.

I need to let him get bored more in my playthroughs because I didn't know there were idle animations based on locations! Honestly if I was in charge of that back in the day and if I could, I would've done the same. I love little things like that, it brings a lot of enjoyment to just spending time in the game.
I do know of the early beta! What I liked about it was the little fact that Conker's running animation was on all fours. I like it when animal chars are a lot more feral in mannerisms in games and that's something I didn't see very often for a while.
I also thought that they made the game gruesome cause they got bored of kids' games! They took sort of a middle ground with that.
