Quick pastel doodle ( 20 min) in my sketch book. I did it to break in a little rembrant 30 stick pastel set I bought. I like it though because it demonstrates everything I like about pasels. Though it got pretty beat up .. wet and moldy and bent, pastels blured etc ... oh well ... the down side of pastels. YAY scanners :)
This is an imaginary secene inspired by the many nights I spent on the various Salt River Project lakes in Arizona. When I was a kid my family camped a lot, and my dad took my brother and I on many fishing trips. BTW I used to paint a lot of stuff like this, especialy when a little depresed.
