The show started with a huge C-17 Globemaster III transport plane disgorging the US Army Special Operations Command's precision parachute team, the Black Daggers. Two paired up to unfurl the POW/MIA flag, while the jump leader had the US flag. The flag's 5,000 square feet in area, and he descended as a local singer made an attempt at the National Anthem. To her credit, she only came close to screwing the lyrics twice.
