this was my final for my life drawing class last term, you can read part of my writeup for it below:
With this piece I aim to evoke a feeling of warmth and comfort comparable to the way one feels when they touch someone they love. We all want to be able to gather again, to embrace and party and express our affections. This is a hopeful reminder that these intimate and joyous moments will exist again in the future; that while the present may feel lonely and hopeless, there will come a day when we hug and kiss our loved ones again.
