Had an absolutely fantastic time with this one, especially now that I could finish it since I have my laptop back! I originally had slightly different lineart, but redid it. I like how this version came out so much better!

Now this is just plain neat. I absolutely love her outfit, especially the little gold rings on hear ears, and the garland of flowers in her hair. And it's a really enchanting idea. All of the bubbles around her, each with their little treasures, give this a sort of Wonderlandish feel. Though magic bubbles always make me think a little bit of Labyrinth, too, super nerd that I am. But either way, it's just kind of fascinating to sit there and to try to take in all of the little details, and to imagine what it would be like to be there.
Though I really think that the most charming part of it all is the look of utter wonder on her face, at this place she has found herself in. It's not really a look you see much from anyone over the age of twelve or so, and I just love that it kind of reminds us that you don't have to let go of all of the magic in your life, just because you happen to be an adult.

I LOVE Labyrinth! We can be nerds together, then, haha.
And very true. I feel like a lot of people tend to lose their imagination--all of it--when they get older. It's always nice to be reminded that magic is still there, no matter how old you are
