So back in the Christmas of 2017
got me something I always wanted- a Wacom artists tablet. I've never been much for digital art and this was a great way to practice. Inside the box he had put this challenge inside to get me drawing (You can see it here: https://64.media.tumblr.com/3a6645e.....8145003907.jpg ). . Practice drawing on the tablet and also work on my 'wish for a star' concepts. Admittedly I didn't really get started on the challenge until 2019 (we spent most of 2018 moving and buying a flat). It's also certainly not a 31-day challenge as it's taken me two years, and I'm still doing the last few prompts. haha I'm terrible.
BUT it's done it job; got me used to drawing with tablet pen and made me think about my little wish for a star universe and what it in tales (it's all based on my final year animation I did and wanted to expand upon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isnsT2Ej8v0). Things will hop about style, skill and theme-wise etc. but It was more to get to grips with using the tablet pen to do my art. Up until this point I had still been painstakingly drawing the line art by hand and digitally colouring it (if at all). Now I'm more confident to start drawing my sketches right on to a digital canvas.
SO I'm gonna show off what I've done. Partially because some art is getting pretty old and out of date in places as I've got better with digital art but also because this week's Inktober52 word is 'star'. So watch this space, and I'm going to dump stuff bit by bit for the next few days.
This is the princess character 'Ayliss'. A lost girl with no memories found, who's since grown up with as a small band of misfits who insist she's their princess. But as she grows up she begins to wonder...
Simple drawing to get used to the tablet, as well as clip studio paint- which I was also very new to.

I did save mine so I could laught at it for long XD still works. I know how that feels, to this day I color with my left using the mouse and with the left on the tablet I go for lines and details. I devepoled that skill just to save the point of the pen for as much as possible XD
