Santos started feeling sick after escaping Pinkamena, the red and orange tint represents, Henry's fever, and is using all of his strength to escape. This scene is based off the mission from Red Dead Redemption 2 where Arthur Morgan escapes Colm O Driscal while his sickness was in effect.
