alright-alright-alright funny cute haha's aside

i was feeling abit inspired to do some fanart last month when i was binge playing through the ratchet and clank games starting with the first one and i just love how adorably silly and cute the game is. now to note i have watched all the cutscenes before playing the ratchet and clank games because at the time i didn't think id actually ever play the games but low and behold i did it and had a really fun experience with the game ^^

im hoping to do more fanart of ratchet in the future. maybe even some lewd ones but honestly i wanted to just draw ratchet being adorable cause iv been in the mood to draw something wholesome and cute because i just got done playing smt nocturne and that game is very VERY FUN! <3

but its also very grim and dark.. which i enjoy emo games with there dark toned storys and very deep big thunk moments but when you play a grindy game like that nonstop for days until you finally finish and beat the game then it can really suck the life out of ya with how depressing and apocalyptic the game is with all its sand and dead like citys n all the demons that want to much your face off on every corner. so despite me loving the game and having alot of fun!

i immediately needed some wholesome fun and cuteness in my life to get the emo vibes flushed out of my system because i dont enjoy feeling depressed/emo.

and so i went back to playing some ratchet and clank as well as some neopets:the darkest faerie and recharged my positive energy back to full blast! woo! and then i felt pumped and ready to finally draw something and so i made this!

ill admit its not perfect (i hadn't drawn anything in a week or 2 so im feeling rusty.) and my brains having to relearn how to shade and color things. but this was something i just sorta speed drawn up as sort of like a warm up thing to help shake off the rust and remind myself how to color things again :3. so stay tuned and hopefully ill have a better ratchet fanart piece to post around the corner! unless i wind up wanting to draw something else ofcourse >w>;;;

OH and i hope this drawing doesn't give you too much of a headache. (a right side up version without the text and camera borders is on the way! ) as for where rachet is at he's probably on a vacation planet like poketaru or whatever that beach place planet full of water is called.
