This undead guy is Karl Richter, a draugr who died in the Great War during the second battle of Ypres. He became best friends with a young bugbear in the early 1930s named Elise Foucharde, the same bugbear from this image...https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39320035/

When Elise gave birth to baby Louis in 1946, Karl became the infant bugbear's official daddy. While Elise went to culinary school in New York and opened a fancy restaurant, Karl took care of the child. Karl might be undead, but he loved Louis like his own child. And since bugbears are inherently creepy, a draugr was a perfect caretaker. Here we have Karl reading to Louis at bedtime his favorite bedtime stories; a collection of Lovecraft. Just your typical American family!
