some practice, a flat color image of a piece of a larger painting i'm currently working on featuring a 1985 toyota ae86, also known as a trueno or hachiroku in japanese- this car was featured in the hit manga/anime initial d. the final image is planned to take place while out for a smoke (no smoking in the nice car) and some stargazing under a japanese night sky overlooking a city on the water. the final image will be practice for shading and lighting from angles. this was the first step to completing the grand image, this image will lose resolution in the final image due to being shrunk. had a lot of fun drawing this, listened to a lot of city funk and pop.

i'm a bit of a car freak and the car pictured is my one and only dream car. i plan on importing one directly from japan one day and taking care of it until the day i die. rs watanabe wheels are hella hard to draw at an angle
