I previously wrote about what happened in my twitter (yes, I have a twitter). When I'm already at home, I want to write more about the incident that happened to me on the trip.
Many thanks to a dear friend
for this wonderful art.
Well
I've always liked cats, but my parents just didn't want animals, any animals. I don't remember why, but..this day happened suddenly. When I was 8 years old my parents gave me a kitten.
My joy knew no bounds. She was strong and smart kitten.
In fact, I had no friends at school. My interests for my classmates were always judgmental and I was considered an outcast. For a child who lives his whole life by drawing, inventing his own universes and characters, there has always been no place among his peers (if they're not the same as yourself, of course, in my case I was a loser). This cat was my only friend. Even with my older sister, I did not feel as calm as I did with her.
She always lay down next to me when I was drawing something. We ate the soup made by my mother together. She kept me warm at night when I was cold in winter. It's hard to describe it in words, but I hope you understand me and my feelings.
After graduating from high school and college, I had a life outside the home (I practiced living alone). Then she loved my dad more than me, but she did not forget about me. She trying to pay attention to everyone, and it was truly fantastic.
Even though I already had my own cats (sphynx, yes) at that time, I always loved her and didn't forget.
I talked about the trip in my journal and it was successful, except for the moment about which I write this large text. (I'm surprised that someone has read up to this moment and he is really interested in it).
When me and my boyfriend came to the family, I have not seen her for a whole year. Before that, I could freely come to my parents, but now I live too far away, we have a very high difference in time zone and tickets is very expensive.
The cat was very sick. For a long time. She was overweight, which greatly affected her health. Plus she was very old. She couldn't walk around the apartment too long. The cat was hand-fed or a bowl of food was placed to her mouth.
On the second day after our arrival, she lie down in the corridor. I spent about an hour with her, gave her water. Since I haven't seen her for a long time, I took a couple of photos with her so that they would be on my phone.
I didn't think that these would be her last photos. She died 6 hours later.
It is very hard for me to think that we will all die someday. The cat was always at home, she was always a member of our family and I feel a huge hole in my heart, because she will never be with us again. I miss my "friend", who was with me all the time, all my life.
Thank you for being with me, Markiza. I'll never forget you.
