Less official reference sketch of my new lass, Colleen.
I've opted to add her to the France / USA tank crew as a replacement gunner for Izzy since she's never seemed to fit well in the crew due to her background and intended demeanor.
So instead we now have this southern bell of a border collie girl who'll be taking over. I love her spots but oh lord do I need more practice drawing them. Granted these are also super rough sketched spots but I liked how it came out so far. Her ears were by far one of the hardest bits because I've never done floppy ears before so this was a fun first experiment which I largely followed the original reference sheet Nix drew for her. I might play around with her neck fluff a little to make it blend better to her chest, as well as I think I drew her chest a little too low so her proportions look just a touch off.
Her little choco toe is so cute though, no shoes for this lady ever so we can see that cute lil toe.
