Malice The Lion [Anthro] ~
New Reference for my alternate male sona, one of my mains, MALICE! ~
I forgot how much I loved drawing him, he's not flashy or complicated, but he's just right. Y'know?
There are many dark/melanistic lions like Malice, but he's just...something else and means a lot to me.
He's built, but chubby too! Kind of like a dad bod when he's anthro. Can be fatter, can be thinner, doesn't matter to me.
I kind of like the Zootopia style, but can be drawn digi or flat footed, I really don't mind. <3
Malice has two alternate names in various languages. :
- Akui (Japanese)
- Kijivu (Swahili)
You may also call him by nicknames :
- Mal
- Mally
Malice is a cursed lion who ended up down on his luck after gambling his 'soul' away in a game of Dice against a DEMON.
Not known to Malice, he lost, and being quite drunk at the time...offered to trap souls for a time, to release his - but the Demon tricked him AGAIN.
Taking advantage, the Demon made sure Malice still signed part of his soul, while collecting souls for ETERNITY - meaning he was immortal, cursed and not technically dead.
When Malice woke up, hungover, he found himself lost and disorientated.
The first times he tried to run from the Demon, keeping away from him and making sure he tried everything to trick it...he was slashed by the demon over his right eye, now causing him pain whenever he failed to trap and send souls to the creature.
He kept living with the curse, mostly tricking people through drunk bets and more gambling. He'd get beaten up - A LOT. Lots of horrific things have happened to Malice over the years, but he numbs it with alcohol and painkillers.
Not finding his way out of this curse, not even with his friends at the time, he isolated himself into a life of just being a dick to people. A sleaze, a degenerate asshole who became bitter.
Upon meeting a certain lion at a bar, he became open to him and soon found himself relaying his issues, his curse and his life to this new fella. Who took pity on him and let him hang around more and more.
The lion and Malice started growing feelings for each other, and soon the lion did his best to help Malice out of this predicament.
Noticing the lack of souls being procured by the cursed Malice, the Demon ransacked the house and held Malice's bf hostage.
Not to show fear, Malice threw himself at the Demon. Showing a more vicious side, an angry, determined and protective side he'd never shown before. Under utter beratement from this lion, the Demon lost focus and quickly found himself having his throat torn out by Malice's fangs. Having gone feral and completely out to protect his partner. Energy gone, the curse not exactly lifted, but cut off, Malice had beaten the Demon that had enslaved him.
Malice's bf made sure he healed up slowly, taking care of the now free lion, himself also injured, once Malice had energy coming back into him, he helped out his bf too.
The two now live in London, Malice is still fearing for his life from gangs, mobs and various Demons, but has learned to fight and his mate is also there to help in times of need.
Lucky for Malice, things did settle down. Finding himself at peace with the one he loves. <3
Malice does have a high libido and a love of alcohol, plus food...lots of either good food or bad food.
