Happy Fourth ofGelati July!
This is a few hours late as much as I wanted to get this done for the day/night itself...but meh, that's what I get for procrastinating until the very day to draw up and work on this whole thing.
Nothing too special; just wanted to make a holiday tribute to the Fourth of July, "commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain" as Wikipedia puts it. Reign's in it...and he's got a t-shirt on underneath his trademark open shirt with references to songs belonging to an old-school American musical icon from my very own state of New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen...with Born in the U.S.A. and Born to Run. And he's running with...a ice cream cone? :O Not just any ice cream though...it's a gelato. :b Got me thinking of a lame pun on "The Fourth of July"...so I titled this "Fourth of Gelati"...though technically "gelati" is plural. I'm sure knowing Reign, he's eaten way more than just one of those things. Oh and look, one of the very few times I drew both his tail and his dorsal spine in the same drawing. <.>;
Long story short...whipped this up in one afternoon yesterday at home by myself while my family was out enjoying my aunt and uncle's pool/grill and continued on it non-stop until now. My fibromyalgia pain's kickin' in really bad right now though, so I'm not too sure when the next time I'll be working on/submitting anything...considering the condition is permanent. So there, it's done...and I got my junky tribute albeit a bit late for Independence Day. :b I guess I'm satisfied. Saw the Macy's fireworks on TV over the Hudson River though, so it's all good.
On a more serious note, God Bless America and this great nation's military and armed forces serving both at home and abroad. This country may have its misfortunes right now...but it always has been a wonderful country and will continue to be...and will continue to pull through just like we always have. I'm proud to say that I'm an American.
Enjoy, I suppose...up to you. Hope everyone likes it despite my own known dislike for my junk.
